Improving the transparency and accessibility of GPA market access information

Welcome to the integrated Government Procurement Market Access Information Resource (e-GPA) portal of the WTO. This portal provides a single point of access to the market access information under the Revised Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA), together with related information that the GPA Parties are committed to provide. It offers improved transparency and user-friendly accessibility to the relevant information.

The GPA 2012 amends the 1994 GPA signed at Marrakesh in April 1994 and which entered into force on 1 January 1996. For more information about the 1994 Agreement, click here. The Parties for whom the revised Agreement has entered into force are: Canada; the European Union; Hong Kong, China; Iceland; Israel; Japan; Liechtenstein; the Netherlands with respect to Aruba; Norway; Singapore; Chinese Taipei; and the United States. Subsequently, it will enter into force for the remaining three Parties (i.e. Armenia, Korea, and Switzerland) on the 30^th day following the date of deposit of their respective instrument of acceptance.

This module provides simple access to the revised coverage commitments of the Parties to the Agreement. Show more/less... The coverage commitments of the Parties are set out in each Party's Annexes to Appendix I of the Revised Agreement. With this function, you can browse and filter individual annexes of a selected Party or Parties. The information available comprises, for each Party: the central, sub-central and other government entities that are covered by the Party (respectively in Annexes 1, 2 and 3), the goods (Annex 4) and services (Annex 5), including construction services (Annex 6) that are covered, and the minimum financial value thresholds, expressed in SDR, to which the Agreement applies. Any clarifications, conditions or qualifications associated with a Party's coverage are presented in the form of Notes in individual annexes or General Notes in Annex 7. The General Notes of a Party apply to the entire coverage of that Party. More information about the structure of Appendix I can be found on the GPA gateway page.	This module provides information on the thresholds in Appendix I of the GPA. Show more/less... The Agreement applies to procurement of minimum estimated value equal to or exceeding certain specified financial value thresholds. The thresholds, in IMF Special Drawing Rights (SDR), are specified in each Party's Annexes to Appendix I. Each Party also periodically notifies the national currency equivalent of its thresholds to the WTO. Both sets of information are available in this module.	This module allows the creation of output on any aspect of GPA coverage of the selected Party or Parties in several formats (i.e. PDF, Word, Excel, TIFF, CSV, MHTML and XML).
