Definition: A construction services contract is a contract which has as its objective the realization by whatever means of civil or building works, based on Division 51 of the Central Product Classification (CPC Prov.).

1 Without prejudice to the commitments undertaken by Switzerland under the WTO General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS), the commitments on services in this Agreement are subject to the limitations and conditions on market access and national treatment as set out in Switzerland's schedule of commitments under the GATS.
2 Switzerland will not extend the benefits of this Agreement to services and service providers of Parties which do not include in their own schedules, service contracts awarded by the entities listed in Annexes 1 to 3 until such time as Switzerland accepts that the Parties concerned ensure comparable and effective access to the relevant markets for Swiss undertakings.
